The universal screw is the absolute all-rounder in the SPAX range. It can be screwed into almost anything - for example, into softwoods such as spruce and pine, as well as into common wood-based panels (MDF, particleboard and OSB) without pre-drilling. Our universal screw shows its superiority above all in interior fittings and furniture construction, but it can also be used well on the outside with the appropriate corrosion protection. Due to its special thread geometry, the insertion resistance during screwing is significantly lower than with conventional screws, which not only saves your strength, but also the battery of the screwdriver used. Splitting of the wood near the edge is reliably prevented. What this means for you is that you can drive more screws per battery charge, and you no longer have to worry about the ends of the wood being torn open.
